Baku to ensure security for Armenian Eurovision contestants
Azerbaijan guarantees the security of Armenian contestants in the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in Baku, a minister has said.
“We would like Armenian representatives to compete in this contest, but if they decide not to come to Azerbaijan, then that is their right,” Youth and Sport Minister Azad Rahimov told journalists.
Commenting on the venue for the contest, Rahimov said: “We need to find a company that can build a 15-25,000-seat hall in eight months which can serve as the venue for Eurovision 2012.” Read the rest of this entry
